RE!THINKING the ways in which healthcare can meet the needs of communities through supporting innovative thinking and results-driven collaboration across and within systems.

Our strategy in health

Over the years, RE!NSTITUTE has used its 100-Day Challenge methodology to RE!THINK complexities in a range of health sectors, resulting in positive impacts that have changed, and saved lives. In each case, the difference has been around leveraging the knowledge and energy of those who aren't always included – community members, frontline health and care professionals, as well as patient participants, facilitated through the 100-Day Challenge methodology. Together, they confront the difficulties being faced to innovate, set goals and strive for and achieve positive results.

The deadlines we had to work to and the amount of work we had to do was fairly daunting, but at the same time, because we were all signed up to work better together it was a very liberating experience. Dr Liz Towers Mid Essex CCG (Care Commissioning Group) Clinical Lead for Frailty

Focus Area in Sector

Within the health sector, RE!NSTITUTE has worked with government, private and non-profit sectors across Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa.  Teams have supported the implementation of national strategies, such as in relation to HIV/AIDS in Eritrea, the integration of health and social care (with NESTA in the UK’s National Health Service), the involvement of the private sector in the battle against HIV/AIDS (in Ethiopia), as well as community-led projects to improve health outcomes for pregnant women and their babies (Nepal).  Working with sponsors such as the World Bank and UNAIDS, RE!NSTITUTE’s work has broken down barriers, provided innovative and previously unthought-of solutions to entrenched problems, and provided a basis for sustainable change to improve lives.
