Data Analyst Coordinator

“The measure of wealth in a civilized nation is not the currency accumulated by the lucky few, but rather the strength and resonance of social relations, and the bonds of reciprocity that connect all people in common purpose.”

What brought you to RE!NSTITUTE?

Prior to joining RE!NSTITUTE in 2020, I worked in the non-profit sector with a focus and passion for data visualization, data analysis, and process improvement. My experience had been working closely with frontline staff on complex social issues, so RE!NSTITUTE’s unique approach to solving problems by catalyzing systemic change on a broader scale was inspiring and really resonated with me. After initial conversations with RE!NSTITUTE, I found that not only was the work being done incredible, but the talented team doing that work formed an authentic culture with brilliant, motivated minds that value and care for one another as individuals. I was excited to be part of an organization with a history of systemic impact across a multitude of sectors, strives to embody it’s values, and found myself energized by the prospect of the future positive changes RE!NSTITUTE could bring.

What’s your current role?

As the team’s Data Analyst Coordinator, I’m responsible for assisting with capturing, managing, and utilizing quantitative and qualitative data across ventures and sectors. I create engaging visualizations in Tableau to display data for 100-Day Challenges and venture and global impact. I work closely with the MEL team, Venture Leads, Catalysts, and clients to identify and utilize data to support decision making, provide analysis support and facilitate data conversations.

What do you love about your role and RE!NSTITUTE?

The best part of my role is sharing data through visualizations to help communicate impact, share insights and spark discussions around learning. I love having the opportunity to take complex information and transform it into simple, direct, and visually appealing interfaces that help bring data to life.
