Rapid Re-Housing in Los Angeles


An ambitious goal

With support from the United Way of Greater Los Angeles, a diverse, cross-sectional team of organizations, providers, and importantly - employers, came together to commit to increasing the number of Rapid Re-Housing participants who are employed with a living wage. Despite having only met for the first time, the team came together quickly to figure out ways in which they could connect the systems to make this happen.

By the end of the first day, they had already committed to an ambitious goal:

In 100 days, 175 single adults (18+) who are housed through Rapid Re-Housing will be gainfully employed and able to sustain housing. 70% will retain employment for a minimum of 90 days.
