A 100-Day Challenge focused on strengthening the connections between Rapid Re-Housing and employment services in the SPA 4 region of Los Angeles, CA - which consists of Boyle Heights, Central City, Downtown LA, Echo Park, El Sereno, Hollywood, Mid-City Wilshire, Monterey Hills, Mount Washington, Silverlake, West Hollywood, and Westlake.
An ambitious goal

With support from the United Way of Greater Los Angeles, a diverse, cross-sectional team of organizations, providers, and importantly - employers, came together to commit to increasing the number of Rapid Re-Housing participants who are employed with a living wage. Despite having only met for the first time, the team came together quickly to figure out ways in which they could connect the systems to make this happen.

By the end of the first day, they had already committed to an ambitious goal:

In 100 days, 175 single adults (18+) who are housed through Rapid Re-Housing will be gainfully employed and able to sustain housing. 70% will retain employment for a minimum of 90 days.

Stay tuned

The team left the Launch Workshop energized - and ready to collaborate, innovate, and execute towards achieving their goal. We can’t wait to see all that they accomplish! Stay tuned for more on their progress in the coming 100 days by following us on Twitter, Facebook, and subscribing to our newsletter.
