What brought you to RE!NSTITUTE?

Prior to working at RE!NSTITUTE, I worked in the homeless response system in Sacramento. This work instilled a passion for providing direct service to those experiencing homelessness, while working to improve the overall system for the betterment of those seeking services. In 2018, I participated in a 100-Day Challenge centered around youth experiencing homelessness. Seeing the way the Challenges were run, and the way the organization worked, I decided I wanted to be a part of it.

What’s your current role?

My current role is as a Catalyst. I work directly with the communities participating in the 100-Day Challenges.

What do you love about your role and RE!NSTITUTE?

I love the way that RE!NSTITUTE works differently. The role I work in encourages innovation and exploration, within a community's means.

All too often when communities are looking to change the way their systems operate, they are asked to implement change based on prescribed strategies that they do not have the bandwidth to accomplish.

The way RE!NSTITUTE operates creates pathways for success in any system.

Where will we find you in your free time?

Either in the mountains, or by a body of water.
