“Everything we attempt, everything we do, is either growing up as its roots go deeper, or it’s decomposing, leaving its lessons in the soil for the next attempt.”
What Brought you to RE!NSTITUTE?
I initially came to RE!NSTITUTE because of my passion for systems change and loved RE!NSTITUTE’s methodologies. My background is focused on systems change within conservation, and I was interested in seeing how this way of thinking translated to other sectors. I’ve always been interested in how each sector interacts with each other, so I have enjoyed learning more from my team about the different types of work they do with communities to collaborate.
What’s Your Current Role?
I'm the Operations Manager, which means I handle the behind-the-scenes pieces that make sure our organization runs smoothly every day. I help keep all our systems and processes working so the team can focus on the impact work they do.
What do you love about your role and RE!NSTITUTE?
I love that I get to use my skills in operations to contribute to our work in social impact. I also love supporting and sharing our work on system change with others.
Where will we find you in your free time?
I typically spend my time outside taking walks, hanging out with my cats, playing the clarinet, or learning a new hobby.
