ConJusticia: RE!NSTITUTE 100-Day Challenge for Justice in Mexico
To deepen and widen our impact in the Mexican justice sector, in 2021 we began working with the United States Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Programa para el Fortalecimiento de Instituciones de Justicia Penal Estatal (ConJustica), implemented by DAI, to deliver 100-Day Challenges and other systemic change activities with the aim of improving the effectiveness of state-level criminal justice institutions and reducing impunity in targeted Mexican states.
Fighting Gender Violence in Quintana Roo Justice
RE!NSTITUTE worked with the Government of Quintana Roo and local civil society organizations to implement a 100-Day Challenge focused on reducing gender-based violence in the state.
100-Day Challenge on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in Mexico
RE!NSTITUTE began working with local justice systems in Mexico in 2017 to combat gender-based violence (GBV), improve efficiency in case processing and comprehensive support and services for victims of GBV.
Transparency Rapid Response Project (TRRP)
From 2019-2021, we worked with Mexican state-level anti-corruption systems in partnership with the United States Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Mexico Transparency Rapid Response Project (TRRP), to achieve tangible results in the fight against corruption through 100-Day Challenges that strengthened institutional capacity, inter-institutional collaboration, and engaged civil society organizations.
Justice Access for Victims and the Accused (JAVA)
In early 2019, we partnered with the USAID-funded Justice Access for Victims and the Accused (JAVA) Program, implemented by Fortis Consultoría, to improve access to justice for victims and the accused in Mexico through 100-Day Challenges.
Promoting Justice Project (PROJUST)
Partnering with the United States Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Promoting Justice Project (Projust), RE!NSTITUTE designed and implemented 100-Day Challenges in the Mexican justice system.
